INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION CONTINUES!

On January 12th, 2021 there was a first international online-workshop held in the “Advancing Institutional Capacity for sustainable Groundwater in Central Asia with emphasis on Karakalpakstan, a former Aral Sea Region in Uzbekistan” project within UNICEN.

Workshop participants: Daugherty Water for Food Global Institute, University of Nebraska–Lincoln, USA; Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, Uzbekistan; Karakalpak State University, Uzbekistan; Nazarbayev University, Nur-Sultan; and M.Kh.Dulaty Taraz Regional University, Taraz, Kazakhstan.

The workshop addressed undergraduate and graduate curricula, faculty development and administrative practices to support water resources programs at participating universities.

Our university was represented by Koibakov S.M., project co-leader, d.t.s, professor; Rakhimova Yu.S., project coordinator, “Foreign languages” department senior teacher; the translator was Ibragimov M.F., “Foreign languages” department teacher.
