Mission

The Department implements modern educational programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, training in-demand and competitive IT specialists who meet the requirements of the labor market.

Goal:

To train professionally competent, competitive, creatively thinking, and patriotic specialists who meet modern global standards.

Objectives:

Improving the educational and upbringing process:

A branch of the Department was created on the basis of Kazphosphate LLP. The creation of a branch of the Department contributes to the improvement of the OP, taking into account the needs of the labor market of the Zhambyl region and with the real requests of employers.

For higher practical training and obtaining professional skills of students, the Department of Piip works in close cooperation with Kazphosphate LLP, conducts training sessions in special disciplines with field trips to production.

The Department has close cooperation with SEC "Birlik Tuymekent", LLP " TAMSA LLP "iQYZMET", Sberbank, KSU. Arabaeva, where students exchange, exchange of experience in teaching programming in C+, Python, SCADA TRACE MODE, Project Expert, Java.

Branches of the Department in production is an educational and scientific division of the Department. The work of the branch is carried out on the basis of the organization, the staff of the branch is formed from the number of employees of the Department and the organization. According to PSP 11/12. 03-2017 "Regulations on the Department's branch", classes held at branches are mandatory in the University's schedule of classes. In addition, training is successfully combined with extracurricular work and industrial practice, and branches of departments are actively used for conducting classes in production. For example, at the branch of the Department in Kazphosphate LLP, classes are held in the 3rd year in the disciplines "Fundamentals of computer modeling of chemical and technological processes". Classes are taught by both teachers of the Department and specialists from the enterprise.

Graduate’s tasks:

Mastering the educational program:

  • Complete and high-quality acquisition of all disciplines provided by the curriculum.

Mastering various types of activities:

  • Ability to engage in work, study, play, and cognitive activities;
  • Mastery of key tools and methods of activity: planning, designing, modeling, forecasting, and research.

Mastering key competencies:

  • Cognitive competence: mastering methods of acquiring knowledge from various sources, developing independent learning and research skills.
  • Civic and social competence: awareness of civic duties, active participation in public life, responsible behavior as a voter and consumer.
  • Social and labor competence: ability to analyze the labor market, evaluate one’s professional capabilities, maintain professional communication culture and ethics, develop self-organization skills, and apply social experience.
  • Household competence: maintaining health, adapting to family life, respecting elders, and maintaining cultural communication.
  • Cultural and leisure competence: effective use of free time, organization of activities that promote cultural and spiritual development.

Forming a model of a competent graduate is one of the main tasks of the education system.

To achieve this goal, the learning process provides all necessary conditions to ensure educational outcomes that meet modern social and cultural requirements.

As a result, a competent and well-rounded individual is formed.
