November 28, 2024: Kick-off of the Intensive Program
The event began in the ENACTUS Dulaty Innovation Room with an intensive program for ENACTUS Dulaty members. Training sessions focused on project management, program sustainability, and strategic planning.
- The first session, TEAM LEADERS SESSION, highlighted leadership and team-building strategies. Participants discussed effective project management techniques and ways to motivate teams.
- Dr. Albina Meirbekovna Yerzhanova, President of ENACTUS Kazakhstan, delivered a lecture titled "Building a Sustainable ENACTUS Program", emphasizing the principles of long-term planning and the importance of project sustainability.
- Randall Bruins, Strategic Development Advisor for ENACTUS Kazakhstan, led the EWC 2024, FINAL4 PROJECTS session, sharing strategies for preparing for the ENACTUS World Cup 2025 and providing insights into presenting and executing successful projects.
November 29, 2024: Official Ceremony and Activities
The second day featured an official ceremony attended by students and schoolchildren, with inspiring speeches delivered by:
- Seitjan Aueszhanovich Orynbaev, Vice-Rector for Science and Digitalization at Dulaty University.
- Dr. Albina Meirbekovna Yerzhanova, President of ENACTUS Kazakhstan.
- Randall Bruins, Strategic Development Advisor for ENACTUS Kazakhstan.
- Alumni from ENACTUS Dulaty, representing former team captains.
A highlight of the day was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between Dulaty University and ENACTUS Kazakhstan for the 2024-2025 academic year, strengthening collaboration in educational and entrepreneurial initiatives.
Participants also explored ENACTUS activities, with program managers Aruzhan Karimova and Zere Slambeck sharing projects aimed at fostering youth entrepreneurship.
Student teams from leading universities, including Dulaty University, Taraz International Innovation Institute, and others, showcased their achievements in a Parade of Teams. ENACTUS Dulaty presented a detailed history of its 21-year legacy.
Lectures and workshops included:
- Karimzhan Suleimenov, ENACTUS Dulaty alumnus and CEO/Co-Founder of VKUS, spoke about effective project promotion.
- Zhanat Akebayevna Ertaeva, Regional Council member of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs, discussed personal branding and networking in business.
- Marina Akhilbaevna Orynbaeva, ENACTUS Dulaty alumna and Deputy Director at Halyk-Life, conducted a training session with valuable insights for ENACTUS teams.
The event provided a platform for idea exchange, inspiration, and fostering youth entrepreneurship while strengthening collaboration between academia and the business community.
November 30, 2024: Cultural Program
The final day featured a cultural program, including tours of Taraz and the Zhambyl region’s historical landmarks:
- Aisha Bibi Mausoleum – A symbol of eternal love and devotion from the 11th-12th centuries.
- Babaji Khatun Mausoleum – Renowned for its unique style and historical significance.
- Monument "550 Years of the Kazakh Khanate" – Celebrating the establishment of the Kazakh Khanate.
- Open-Air Museum "Ancient Taraz", the Zhambyl Historical Museum, and the Arbat – an archaeological complex showcasing Taraz's rich history.
- Tekturmas Mausoleum – An ancient architectural monument set amidst stunning natural surroundings.
The excursion allowed participants to immerse themselves in the rich cultural heritage of the Zhambyl region and strengthen team spirit in an informal setting.
