An information session titled “Social Support and Migration Issues” was held at Dulaty University for international students. The event aimed to facilitate the students’ adaptation to the academic and cultural environment in Kazakhstan and to clarify migration regulations.
The Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Internationalization, Sholpan Yessimova, provided an overview of the university's internal policies, academic processes, and support measures available to international students. She emphasized the administration's readiness to assist with any challenges and highlighted the importance of maintaining close communication with the faculty.
Special attention was given to the compliance with migration laws. Major Aidos Tegisovich from the Migration Service Department of the Zhambyl Regional Police Department gave a detailed briefing on the rules for foreign citizens residing in Kazakhstan. He covered topics such as registration at the place of residence, visa procedures, and the importance of avoiding violations of migration regulations.
Currently, international students from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, China, Germany, Georgia, Russia, and Kyrgyzstan are studying at Dulaty University. Such sessions play a crucial role in increasing awareness and creating a supportive environment for students to live and study comfortably in Kazakhstan.
