Karatau Mining and Technology College was opened on the basis of the faculty of general education at M.Kh. Dulaty Taraz State University on August 1, 2016.

Mission - Training of highly qualified, competitive specialists through the introduction of innovative training technologies in order to improve the quality of education and professional competencies, taking into account the labor market.

Perspective: College is an innovative educational institution with a flexible educational system, an open information environment and modern infrastructure, functioning in the interests of students, teachers, staff, staff, employers and other interested parties.

To date, the college is provided with two educational and laboratory buildings, an indoor sports hall, an assembly hall with 250 seats, a dormitory for 200 seats and a dining room with 50 seats, has a library with two reading rooms for 100 seats and a common book room a fund of more than 25 thousand copies of scientific, technical and educational literature, a center of information technology with modern multimedia and interactive classes.

The college has a pedagogical council, a methodological council and 2 cyclic methodological commissions.
