The Center for the Development of Student Creativity (hereinafter - CRTS) is a structural subdivision of the Taraz Regional University named after. M.H. Dulati (hereinafter referred to as the university) and reports directly to the vice-rector for educational work and social issues.
The Center for the Development of Student Creativity is headed by a director, who is appointed and dismissed by order of the rector of the university in accordance with the concluded employment contract.
The Center for the Development of Student Creativity is the center of the university’s cultural work. CRTS carries out its activities in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Decrees of the President, as well as regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan and these Regulations.
In its activities, CRTS is guided by the regulatory and administrative documents of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, international and national quality standards, the University Charter, as well as these Regulations.

CRTS organizes work in the following main areas:
- vocal studio – studio for training solo and group (duet, trio, quartet, etc.) singing;
- studio of folk instruments - a studio for music lovers who want to master musical literacy and skills in playing an instrument;
- choreographic studio - a studio of dance ensembles and groups performing folk, sports, ballroom and modern dances;
- modeling studio is a studio for everyone who wants to learn how to move beautifully, flexibly, gracefully and professionally, and walk on the catwalk (demonstrate outfits).
Purpose of activity and main tasks:
The objectives of the CRTS activities are:
- organization of creative and cultural work of the university.
- increasing the spiritual and cultural level of student youth.
The main objectives of the CRTS activities:
- improving the organization of leisure time for students, comprehensive development of creativity in their free time from studying;
- development at the university of all types and genres of folk art, including an orchestra of folk instruments, wind, pop, folk ensembles and choreography;
- enriching the repertoire of studios with highly artistic means of expression and art forms of authors from different countries.
- implementation of the university development strategy for 2020-2025All conditions have been created at the university so that students can effectively use their free time and be able to engage in self-development and broaden their horizons. During the propaganda work and the "Zhas Talent" competition, students' creative abilities are revealed and attracted to the studio, where they undergo general cultural training in the form of practical classes in choreographic, vocal, modeling studios, in folk instrument studios, and since this year a new direction has been opened - the school of presenters. A total of 515 students from all faculties are currently engaged in the creative studios of the Center, which is 8.2% of the total number of students enrolled at the university (according to the Strategic Plan - 1%).
In the choreographic studio of the center (head of the dance groups "Asylai", "Arai", "Arnau" A.Orynbayeva, head of the dance groups "Gauhartas", "Asadal", "Turan", "Kalinka" J.Kurmanalieva - head of the modern dance group "Tarsu.kz " and cheerleading) students who didn't know how to dance before and singing, as a result of intensive rehearsal sessions and regular performances on the stages of the university and cultural events of the region, they reach a professional level of performing skills.
At the lessons of the studio of folk instruments (head D.Basykaraev), students gain practical skills in the technique of performing kui on dombra, as well as knowledge about the culture, history, and traditions of the Kazakh people.
The most gifted students in the ensemble of folk instruments "Tumar" perform on the stages of the university and the city.
In the modeling studio, all interested students are taught to move beautifully, plastically, gracefully and professionally, walk on the catwalk, (show off outfits). National stylized stage costumes, qualitatively made by highly qualified craftsmen for models, are known throughout the republic for their originality and elegant lines, are in demand, meet aesthetic taste, arouse the interest of the audience and are an ornament of any holiday. University students in such stage costumes with a national flavor perform on various stages, meet high-ranking guests coming on an official visit, which is pride and prestige for the university.
In the classes of the vocal studio (headed by B.Sultanbekova and N.Zharasbekov), students develop their musical abilities, gain knowledge about the work of the vocal apparatus, the qualities of vocal sound, performance techniques, stage culture and musical literature. During the academic year, vocally gifted students have the opportunity to perform in front of a large audience on the stages of concert halls of the university, the city house of culture, and participate in creative competitions of the city and region. The singers perform solo, as well as as part of the duo "Zhasnur", the trio "Tarlan", "Nazar", the group "Zhalyn" songs by Kazakh, Uzbek, Russian, Ukrainian, Turkmen, Korean, Indian, Polish, Armenian authors.
The university has created a vocal and instrumental ensemble "Univer" (headed by A.Kushakov), equipped with all the necessary instruments (drum kit, guitar, bass guitar, shaker, keyboard instrument, conga). VIA enjoys great success and popularity among students and teachers.
