Academic Methodological Association (hereinafter AMA) is a consultative and advisory body on educational-methodical and scientific-methodical issues in the field of higher and postgraduate education, which is part of the Republican educational-methodical council of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
AMA in its activities is guided by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Education”, the Regulation “On the Republican Educational and Methodological Council of Higher and Postgraduate Education” and other normative documents of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Academic Methodological Association on the basis of M.Kh.Dulaty Taraz State University was established in 1998.
Currently, AMA is organizing educational and methodological support for 3 specialties of higher and postgraduate education.
The main activities of the EMC:
organization of the development of state generally binding standards of higher and postgraduate education;
the organization of the development of standard curricula of disciplines in the specialties of higher and postgraduate education;
organization of examination of manuscripts of textbooks and teaching aids for higher and postgraduate education;
participation in the opening of new specialties;
interaction with the Department of Higher, Postgraduate Education and International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
methodological consultation of universities of the Republic conducting training in the specialties that are part of the AMA, on the organization of the educational process.
AMA structure:
The management of AMA is carried out by the chairman - rector of M.Kh.Dulaty TarSU - Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor M.N. Sarybekov.
The vice-rector of M.Kh.Dulaty TarSU - Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor A.Abdualy.
The current organizational work, documentation and paperwork is carried out by the Secretary of AMA – Candidate of technical sciences, Associate professor B.Zh. Manapbaev
