The QS Eurasia Forum 2025 was held in Tashkent on 25–26 November, bringing together ministers, ambassadors, university leaders, and higher education experts from across the Eurasian region. The forum focused on the key theme “Broadening Horizons: Building Global Bridges in Higher Education,” highlighting the importance of strengthening international cooperation and expanding global educational connections.
The opening remarks were delivered by Nunzio Quacquarelli, President and Chair of the Board of QS Quacquarelli Symonds; Jakhongir Artikkhodjayev, Founder of Central Asian University; and Mr. Timothy Smart, His Majesty’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan. They emphasized the importance of sustained dialogue, global collaboration, and the growing role of Eurasia in the international education landscape.
During the Ministerial Keynotes session, welcome speeches were delivered by Mr. Sardor Radjabov, First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Mr. Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan; and Mr. Emin Amrullayev, Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The ministers highlighted the need for cross-border cooperation, modernization of universities, and the exchange of best practices to advance the region’s higher education systems.
Dulaty University was represented by Sholpan Yessimova, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Internationalization, who participated in key sessions and international dialogues aimed at strengthening partnerships and advancing the university’s global strategic initiatives.
Dulaty University actively participates in major international and regional rankings, including the QS World University Rankings, the QS regional rankings, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) rankings. Following its recent evaluation, the university received the prestigious QS Stars rating, confirming its strong performance in education quality, internationalization, and sustainable development.
Participation in the QS Eurasia Forum 2025 marked an important step in expanding Dulaty University’s global cooperation, exchanging expertise, and developing new formats of international engagement.
