Professional biography
Specialist in linguistics, English lexicology, Cognitive linguistics, Ethnolinguistics, and Professional English language teaching.
In 2021-2023, she worked as the head of the Department of World Languages at M.H. Dulaty Taraz Regional University; in 2020-2021, she worked as an Associate Professor at the Department of Practical Foreign Languages.
From 2014 to 2022, she worked as an Associate Professor at the Department of Practical Foreign Languages; in 2014, she worked as a translator during the International Accreditation of Taraz State University. From 2008-2011, she worked as the Head of the Department of “Foreign Languages” at the Innovative University of the Humanities in Taraz;
In 2006-2008, she worked as the head of the Department of English Philology at the International Kazakh-Turkish University in Taraz.;
In 2006, she worked as a translator for a team of long-term OSCE observers from the United States and the Netherlands during the parliamentary elections.
In 2005, she worked as a translator for the team of short-term OSCE observers from Great Britain and Canada during the presidential elections.
From 2000-2004 she worked as the Head of the Department of English Philology at Taraz State University Pedagogical Institute;
From 1990-1998, he was a lecturer at the Department of English at the Dzhambul Pedagogical Institute.;
She has 36 years of scientific and pedagogical experience, the author of more than 80 scientific and methodological publications. During her career at the university, she has developed and published over 28 textbooks, as well as developed lecture courses for undergraduates and bachelors in the following lecture and practical courses: Lexicology of the English language, Theoretical Foundations of Cognitive Linguistics, Regional Studies of Great Britain and the USA, Literature of Great Britain and the USA, Practical Grammar of the English language, IELTS and TOEFL courses, English language for Specials Goals.
In 2024-2025, she successfully completed the internship program “Transcending Boundaries Fostering an Open Research Teaching Dialogue in English Teaching“ – Manchester Metropolitan University (United Kingdom);
In 2021, she successfully completed the internship program “Cross-cultural communication“ – Mahavi's International English Language School, London (UK);
In 2018-2019, she successfully held briefings on the topic “Issues of pedagogy, curriculum, teacher education and school management“ – Dubai (United Arab Emirates); In 2017-2018 - participated in the International Educational Exhibition “Perspectives of Teaching English" – Taejong (Korea);
In 2015, she successfully completed the internship program “Training and Teaching in Higher Education Institutions “ – Newcastle University (UK);
She is engaged in research in the field of linguistics, ethnolinguistics, English lexicology, cognitive linguistics, and professional English language teaching.
2022-2023 was awarded letters of appreciation and diplomas from the rector of TarRU named after M.H.Dulaty.
